Shaista Lodhi Career And Profession
Shaista Lodhi began her career as a VJ in 2001. Later, she filled in as a host on a private TV channel and hosted the morning show Good Morning Pakistan on ARY Digital. In September 2010, she moved to GEO and hosted Utho Jago Pakistan. The show faced suspension in May 2014 due to alleged blasphemy, prompting Shaista to leave Pakistan out of safety concerns.
She relocated to South Africa with her three children but returned in 2015. Shaista resumed hosting morning shows with Sitare Ki Subah on Hum Sitaray, Mehmaan Nawaz on SEE TV, and later Geo Subah Pakistan from January 30, 2017. In 2020, she captained the Peshawar Stallions in the Jeeto Pakistan League during Ramadan.
By October 2021, Shaista announced she would host a morning show on PTV Home, taking over from Nadia Khan. She debuted on the show, Morning at Home, on November 15, 2021.
